| Liberation Lectionary

Welcome to Liberation Lectionary - a project by the Rev's Francisco García and Jaime Edwards-Acton. Exploring scripture readings for upcoming Sundays according the Revised Common Lecitonary. Looking for the Good News of liberation in it all. Hope you'll come along for the ride. In this inaugural Episode #1, we'll look at Matthew 10:24-39 for Pentecost 3A. Here Jesus says "I have not come to bring peace, but a sword" among other things. How does this feisty, not-so-meek Jesus fit into this moment of unrest and uprising in response to longstanding racial oppression?

| Daily Readings

Staying consistent in the word is a key way to maintain a strong connection to our faith.

Daily Prayer: A Resource of Forward Movement is an invaluable online tool. Here they offer daily readings to engage us in our climb of faith, and an opportunity to engage with the larger community in meaningful conversations around the word.

Habits of Grace | Weekly Meditations

As we learn how to adjust our lives given the reality of the coronavirus and the request to do our part to slow its spread by practicing social distancing, I invite you to join me each week to take a moment to cultivate a ‘habit of grace.’ A new meditation will be posted on Tuesdays through May.
